Sounds like we were desperately un-lucky (thanks to some great updating) my Facebook stream went as follows:

Hope the players heads don't drop after last night, I'm sure they won't but football is a very cruel mistress.

Christie and Ben hitting woodwork and both having shots cleared off the line as well goals a piece, could have ended up with a 6-2 win with two hat-ricks.

Not to mention Tilt had the ball in the back of the net at one stage too.

Did it look offside though?

I dont think it was Tilt that was the offender. Good finish though.

We had other chances late on, Tonks had one with about 3mins left to go 3-2 up.

They also had a fair few chances to win it also.

Only 101 there last night with around 40 odd Yeltz fans...

Have to look at the pluses, we remain 5th, level on points with 6th with a game in hand to try and consolidate the last play off place (bit premature to be talking of securing places etc I know...) also if we win our game in hand over Leek, that'll take us to within 4 points.

Still unbeaten in the last 7 games, Haseley is scoring for fun atm. Christie seems to be fitting in nicely too. All in all still a lot to feel good about.

Looking forward to Saturday now and progression in the FA Cup, with a more than winnable - if not tough - game at the Grove.

40+ good away following considering the location and day / time of the game!

Potentially if we win the FA Cup game this weekend we could go 3/4 weeks without a league game. Leek are already out the FA Cup so will pull away further. Early stages though yet.

I don't take note of the league table until the C word is upon us!

In saying that it's always nice to be at the top or at the very least thereabouts. Just looking at the fixtures we don't have a league game 'till mid October - Sheff away, the a home game, then we play Leek. I take it that could / will change depending on how we do in the FA Cup and Trophy.

last year the crowd was 102 and I joked that they must have included the players in that.
So last night I counted the crowd (sad I know) but I counted 87, so perhaps my joke last year wasn't a joke after all !!!! :o
