No updates because Mr Stokes not evidenced.

Lost 1 nil but anyone there could see Halesowen were the better team and had the most chances, thanks to ex Yeltz Dean Coleman and Storubridge converting 1 of 3 shots Stour won but it was all Halesowen.

The first time I can remember a pre-season friendly when a booking was made. Stourbr*dge number 5 committed a foul and when spoken to by the ref in the normal pre-season "don't do it again" must have said something and was booked.

The upgraded Shed and other works look great.
The new players peformed well and all bodes well for this being our season.

Certainly more positives for Halesowen than Stourbr*dge. That said, football is all about putting the ball in the net and clearly Ben and Kyle thought it better to save the goals until the league season started. I'm really positive about the season ahead and the performances I've seen so far, we look solid at the back, have a nice blend of experience and youth in the midfield and we certainly look like we have goals upfront. Most of all, we look like a TEAM, who all want to play for the manager.

Jon Ford said yesterday that Yeltz were by far the better team. He's still got blue in his blood ;)
