The referee was somewhat lenient to their players but we were well beaten today.

Re: Northwich Updates
Very poor show from our lot today. The ref/linesman missed a clear handball (2 hands) a yard outside the box at the end of the 1st half, several 2 footed tackles went unpunished, a good goal disallowed while it was still 2-0..... but in the end we just weren't good enough and couldn't adapt to the worst pitch since the Baseball Ground in the 70's.
Highlights of the day..spotting the coppers camera van in time on the approach to the ground, Swipey's charge towards the pitch after a very poor challenge went unpunished (it was a marker of what was to come!) and the announcement that the crowd was 120! really? where did they get the other 40 from?, we counted 80 (50 Yeltz).

Sounds like a bad day at the office. Got to put the last two results behind us. I'm still remaining hopefull for the playoffs. Looking forward to tuesday and if we can get 3 pts at Kidsgrove we're back in the hunt. Up the Yeltz!

Don't you dare mention my beloved Baseball Ground in the same breath as that pitch........The Baseball Ground was 20 times worse than that on a good dayZeeZee wrote:Very poor show from our lot today. Lovely match report littered with spelling mistakes. I dont think we were 'brushed aside' either.
Halesowen did have the ball in the back of the net when Aaron Griffiths cross was met by Ben Haseley who ilegally challenged the goalkeeper. Really? Seemed very harsh on us where I was standing. Keeper made no effort to get to the ball.
