Spot on. A truly awful decision. But that's what you get when the owners are in a different country!Mikeev02 wrote: ↑10 Mar 2019, 17:43Awayday
What team allows Pardew possibly the worst manager ever in the premier to last 20 plus games before they gave Darren a chance who did wel and would have probably have escaped relegation
Sitting fourth and looking a cert for the play offs the decision is farcical

As a Newcastle fan, I can categorically state that the owner's race has nothing to do with their ability to make awful decisionsAwayDayYeltz wrote: ↑10 Mar 2019, 07:11Spot on. A truly awful decision. But that's what you get when the owners are in a different country!

I wasn't trying to bring race into it. Our owner is based in China and seldom visits the country. That's what I was getting at.Poll wrote: ↑11 Mar 2019, 08:55As a Newcastle fan, I can categorically state that the owner's race has nothing to do with their ability to make awful decisionsAwayDayYeltz wrote: ↑10 Mar 2019, 07:11Spot on. Fair enough, I think what we can agree on is how money - in particular chasing the gravy train of the Premier League, but even down to our level - is ruining football. Stupid owners the world over only care about that, rather than what's best on the football side.AwayDayYeltz wrote: ↑11 Mar 2019, 08:58I wasn't trying to bring race into it. We're very lucky our owners aren't like that any more (although we've suffered for many years because of this)

Completely agree with those sentiments. Owners make ludicrous decisions and / or spend money the club can't maintain, leave and then the fans are left with the shit storm.Poll wrote: ↑11 Mar 2019, 09:09Fair enough, I think what we can agree on is how money - in particular chasing the gravy train of the Premier League, but even down to our level - is ruining football.
