Hopefully this deserved win will help improve the manic depessants on this forum.
Fact
5 points from last 3 games ( only 3 teams have more)
So being a statistician we should collect from the remaking 15 games =25 points add to 24 pts = 49 points ( before you shout that will not happen ur right it may only be 4 from 3 = 20
Giving just 44 pts
Not finished yet
Are there still only 3 players you would keep or was it 2
Not one of you mentioned Kieran Morris ( non league MOM) who wins headers in both boxes and I would have pushed hm up front for the last 15 minutes as we had a back 5 to switch to a 4
Dan played his best 45 minutes in the blue shirt
The back 5 plated well and as usual platty gave a top class performance
Jack rea covered every blade of grass
Andre Wright also made a much mprovement
Clear your head of negative thoughts

Hope u enjoyed yesterday’s performance just a bit

I know I did

OK, a bit of positivity.
The result ALMOST made me feel as though my hands and feet weren't encased in blocks of ice!

This is not the managerial staff in disguise is it 😂

It was much improved but I was starting to think things couldn’t get much worse. But maybe we have turned the corner and we can believe.

Apart from potential stats I agree on the performances. Forgot to mention Jack Rea yesterday. I thought he was immense. Close to my M.O.t.M.

Love the banter on here, but you do have to get your facts right before having a go. ;)
If you reread the thread I said I would keep
Platt
Curley
Kelly
MORRIS
Rae
Taylor (if he was ours)

And I still stick by it.

P.S. we're not manic depressives, just realists after so much dross for so long. I too really enjoyed yesterday's second half and loved the result. More of the same please. Your stats mean nothing either. If we keep our current points from games ratio we're down.

It was a must needed 3pts and a game we deserved to win based on our 2nd half performance.

Was thinking though that a goal wasn’t going to come as we missed chance after chance but great header from Morris in the end who got his reward after a great display.

Thought the first half was very flat however the 2nd half was much better as we showed fight and character. If we can perform like that between now and the rest of the season it certainly gives us a fighting chance of survival.

Andy
I do apologise as I got thr person wrong, however one individual who shall remain nameless, but if you not a t home you must be out definitely said 3 maximum
So yes I agree if I am going to criticise then I must get the facts corrsc5
However, I will tale issue over correct points earned over all games played is less meaningful than the most recent form
An example if you follow the horses then you certainly would be more interested in recent form
Just one more point Hitchin were 21st in the table , 3 wins later on 29 pts now 18th , 3 pts outside the relegation zone
I rest my case , it is bloody heavy

If I have missed the next statement I apologise in advance

I thought the shedenders were magnificent today and to Use the well known phrase

“ They were our 12th man today”

I just hope your optimism is borne out. I would so love us to turn this round. It IS possible but we need to put a promotion type run together now. Next 2 games are away at Needham Market (6th I think) and Stratford (3rd). Under normal circumstances 2 points would be great reward but in our current position would probably leave us even further adrift. As I say promotion form is needed.

There's a lad called Jack Till at Lye Town who's scoring for fun.
