Re: FA Cup Belper
Sounds like I didn't miss much, didn't attend today due to being at Lord's.
It's concerning to read Anderson was isolated again. The bloke is a class act when he has support and the ball played to his feet. To utilise him any other way is madness.
Great result and as others have said, that's all that matters. Let's hope for a favourable draw! Presume the conference sides now enter?

How regionalised is the draw now though?

Re: FA Cup Belper
Wasn't a great performance today, but tbf was all about the result, which we got with roughly 10 minutes to spare.
True regarding Kaiman being isolated up front today but felt we edged the game overall in what very scrappy and probably just about deserved our win!
Most important though is we're through to the next round and we're playing those bstards on Monday night so every cloud and all that....

Still regionalised but sometimes teams can go more north or south depending on who's left.andy wrote:Thankfully no.RaidenYeltz wrote:Presume the conference sides now enter?

However it's most likely to be one of these:
Kettering
Boston
Hereford
Ilkeston
Kiddy
Gresley/Stamford
Worcester/Telford
Lincoln Utd
Another busico
Brackley
AFC Mansfield
Westfields
Bedworth
One of the last 3 would probably be preferable. Wouldn't fancy the conference north teams.

Re: FA Cup Belper
It changes from four regions to three now.
North & Midlands
South East
South West
So you (we) could get the likes of Workington or Morpeth. It was at the 3rd Qualifying Round stage three years ago that you lost to Marske, and two years ago we lost to Shildon.

Correction - looking again at last season, it should just be North and South now.The Reasonable Man wrote:It changes from four regions to three now.

I take it we'll both be in the north.
