4.0 Bragoli

Who was it who said he doesn't score goals?

Record shows cup goals only. Team set up obviously suits him.

Johnny Bud, Yeltz goals galore in the sweltering heat but not as feisty encounter as those epic Laurel Lane v Carol Crescent battles were. If you survived those, you didn't need boot camps ;)

Absolutely sweltering heat, well done to the lads for their performance today.

We played some really good football at times today, admittedly the opposition weren't up to much but the difference in fitness levels and desire was much more evident than last week at AFC Wulfrunians. It's almost as if the players all know now that NOBODY is guaranteed a start when the league campaign kicks off and they're all giving the management trio plenty to think about.

Goalkeepers:
Both had little to do today. Sam was probably the busier of the two and handled a couple of crosses well.

Defenders:
I really like the look of Kettle, admittedly he's played RB in Kristian absence in the last two games but he's big, strong and deceptively quick. He's certainly going to give Joe Hull and Curtis Tilt some competition for a starting shirt this season. At left back, I thought Asa looked good today, as has James Oliver in the last two games.

Midfield:
Bragoli looked good for us second half and took his goal well, as has fellow new boy Till in pre-season. With Laity looking better with every half of football played and the old boys, Macca, Tonks, Turner, Griffiths and Forde we're well blessed in this area.

Forwards:
Thompson-Brown looks a great find, and with Ben and Isedyn he'll be a able to compliment them both. Danks is also looking sharper too.

Competition for places is certainly looking good, see you at Tividale on Thursday!

Hot

Good work out and some excellent passing, movement off the ball and goals.

A few good additions to an already good side. Psttt. just don't tell the players I would not want them to become complacent. ;)
