Goal machine

Only 3 for Ben today, needs a talking to....
Recent stats:
3 hatricks in 4 games
13 goals in 8 games

Is this unprecedented for us? I should imagine Paul scored 13 in 8, but 3 hatricks in 4? Come on Chas, stop dreaming of Small Heath and let us know. ;)

Not sure Small Heath fans have experienced prolific goalscorers so they may not appreciate the spirit of this topic......anyhow Steve Piearce scored a few in 98/99:

As always fascinating stats LLL, thank you.
So it appears that Dave Timmington, Paul joinson and Steve Piearse have all scored consecutive hatricks. Ronnie Dugmore got 3 hatricks in a month but not sure if any were consecutive without a fixture list. Steve scored his 5 hatricks for us in just over 2 months! Until yesterday though, nobody had managed to score THREE hatricks in FOUR games. Well done Ben!!!

Oh dear LLL. As the undoubted top statsman you are, i fear you may have mistakenly opened a can of worms here.
At around the time that Billy Walker was knocking in a miserly 244 goals for you, Joe Bradford was was reaching the dizzying heights of 267 for the Blues.
Now i know you Villains love to live in the ancient past but in my 48 years on the planet only 1 player from either of the sides has topped 100. One of your lot? Nah, the mighty Trevor Francis. ;D

Blimey, 2 Fives and 2 hatricks in 7 starts. Amazing. Yet still never got 3 in 4 games. So Ben's out on his own then!

The fact that I find amazing is that Ben has now scored 43 goals in just 50 games for the club. There cannot be that many who have started their goal runs so quickly.

You could probably count them on one hand,

Billy Hargreaves, David Timmington, Eddie Bell & David Eades. Not many to count really.

He has done superb, already on that list above.
