Advertising hoardings question

Post by swipey » 02 Jul 2012, 17:34

I've got in touch with Mike Burke with reference the Company I work for having an advertising hoarding pitchside for next season.

I've put the idea to our MD who's quite keen, but I got this e-mail:

"Stuart what are the commercial manager, board of directors and chairman’s backgrounds i.e. Do they own companies re reciprocation? As this is the only way I will sponsor Halesowen as we [the Company] already sponsor two junior football teams"

I'm a bit embarrassed to ask him what this is in layman's terms, the terminology's totally lost on me; could I have a translation, or, better still, a model answer?

Bear in mind too that our MD was a professional footballer, so knows his biz ;)

Yes, thanks for that... you're dead clever and evryfink compared to this Netherton-raised boy :D

I've e-mailed our MD back along the lines of, "Just give us some bloody dosh cuz w'im ace!!!" :P

I think it's where people you don't know tell you they've just had cornflakes or something.
