So, what about our old friends at Stourbr*dge Town?

Good luck to them, I hope that they get into the play-offs.

Gasboys v Frume

Post by YeltzDoc » 27 Apr 2012, 15:17

So, as a bit of a teaser, let's take the forumistas' temperature on the subject of our friends down the A458 and their push for promotion.

Is it the spirit of the non-league and Black Country Brotherhood (even though they're from Worcestershire).
Or is it parochialism and bile all the way?

'Tis as it should be!

What medication are you giving the four who want us to win?

Do I detect a hint of boundary revisionism here Doc? I suspect it's an attempt to justify the fact that you do not, as you should do, follow the mighty Pears.

Despite a large doll festooned with sharp needles - they've squeaked into fifth spot!

Envious? Naaaah! ::)

Its not quite a done deal, Totton were supposed to play Bedford yesterday and it was called off. If they draw or win on Tuesday then our friends up the A458 miss out on goal difference.

Only the Lutley part of Halesowen (as I'm sure Lord Lutley himself is aware) has always traditionally been a part of Worcestershire, the rest was a little island of Shropshire surrounded by Worcs for quite a while. Given the pig's ear the "City" (ha ha ha) of Dudley makes of ruling us, I'd rather be back with either County in charge.

Totton have beaten Bedford so The Gasboys won't be in play-offs.
