Josh makes an excellent point about groundshare clubs.

Re: Hmmmm.
Obviously nothing is going to change at this late stage (unless the weather somehow intervenes) but the chat about Stour having their ‘home’ game staged at The Grove is a tad naive. Surely if it was their home game they could well be entitled to the majority of the ground leaving us with just the open end and still well short of our potential ticket requirements? It’s a difficult situation all round and I certainly don’t think that there is any solution that is obviously better than the one in place.
For the future though it’s very possible that we could be away should we make the playoffs and with the exception of Telford I don’t think any ground could easily accommodate the 1400 that travelled to Kidderminster …. I hope someone is thinking about this already ….

I think season and flexi tickets already prioritise limited tickets. Flexi tickets are superb value.piearce9 wrote: ↑26 Nov 2024, 10:11
Part of me felt that the club should have made the full season tickets a bit more attractive price-wise, but maybe this is something to draw out next season when they go on sale - that you get priorotised for any limited tickets, etc - and then people might feel they get more value/status in getting a full ticket (and the club capture more revenue in the process)?
I dont think we can afford to cut ticket prices, and why should we? I wonder how many pick and choose games, are unwilling to commit or just jumped on a bandwagon. I guess we can all debate the what ifs, but ultimately its still only 425 places.

That is a very very good point.ArgusAda wrote: ↑26 Nov 2024, 10:40Obviously nothing is going to change at this late stage (unless the weather somehow intervenes) but the chat about Stour having their ‘home’ game staged at The Grove is a tad naive. Re: Hmmmm.
Sorry - I was coming at this more from the club's angle - what's the incentive for people to buy full season tickets when it's better value to either buy a flexi or just pay game-by-game? And the fact that this whole situation might actually be an incentive for people in future.drummyb wrote: ↑26 Nov 2024, 11:25I think season and flexi tickets already prioritise limited tickets. Thanks for clarifying bud. I'd guess its guaranteed money in the bank, as opposed to might be. Flexi tickets are the same. Thats how I look at it.piearce9 wrote: ↑26 Nov 2024, 13:05Sorry - I was coming at this more from the club's angle - what's the incentive for people to buy full season tickets when it's better value to either buy a flexi or just pay game-by-game? Re: Hmmmm.
Season tickets are already good value. If they cut admission prices then there will be less in the coffers, less to spend on players, poorer football, and we'd all moan about that then! Anyway if everyone had season tickets, then season ticket holders would be missing out on the Stour game. There's still only 425 whichever way!
