Not sure where he lives but that’s some drive over to Spalding for training and matches.

Spalding have signed a few from over this way recently - Sweeney being the obvious one, although he's back at Macclesfield now. I would have said it was some drive for him, but apparently he doesn't have a licence.

Hilton also went to Stamford, which was a bit unexpected too. Scored on his debut as well.

Would that be permitted??

We can do dual reg with Lye due to both the Northern & Southern leagues being involved, but Spalding & Lye are both NPL (midland division as well).
