The Grove Pitch Size

Post by AndyP0603 » 03 Oct 2023, 20:51

First post but been a keen viewer of the site, I’ve always thought the pitch at The Grove looked small, I measured it in Google Maps and I think it measures 100m by 62m, would we benefit at home by having a more standard size pitch or does it play to our advantage?

110 x 70 is what is listed on Southern League site Bromsgrove is shown as 100 x 65, but did seem larger, and Stourbr*dge is apparently 103 x 65

103 x 265 if you include Cow Corner.

I thought the Stour pitch seemed much bigger than ours when we played them recently . Probably the illusion as viewing from totally different angle than at the Grove
