Nice return to Hitchin Town on the cards to see if we can find those bits of Westy’s face.

I’ve spent far too much time looking at the options, but however I look at it - and I’ve really tried - I can’t see any way we’ll be in the Northern Premier again now there are 4 tier 3 leagues

It makes sense of course, but as well being disappointing as for personal travel reasons, I just think it’s a lot better run than the Southern League

Anything is better than another year at Tier 4 though!

The Southern League will mean far less travel avoiding the M6 and M1. Imagine a trip to Morpeth, Whitby Workington or Marske (again).

I wouldn't be surprised if it will be overall less travel than the Step 4 league we will be leaving. Only Leiston, Sudbury and Needham Market, Stamford and St Ives would be really significant.

Crikey, Rushall finished miles behind in 5th place. It just shows how much league form counts for once the play offs start.

Finally my blood pressure has gone down and I have regained my equilibrium as it has finally sunk in that we have emerged from the purgatory of the last few years but especially the last four. No longer will we have to return to the crap plastic pitches of kalsa, sutton, coleshill or worse of all , bedworth. No longer will we have to travel to places with the crap facilities such as shepshed or loughborough. No longer , at least for now will we have to endure the belligerent foul mouth and intimidation of the neanderthal jocks. Throw into the mix some shocking displays of refereeing , notably at hinckley. Standing in refreshment queues where there were insufficient servers , serving insufficient foods. Hopefully all this is behind us for now.
But most of all I have to extol and congratulate our owners. If anyone deserved homage , it's Keith and Karen , who have made all of this possible by delivering Yeltz from the bad times under lynch, ingrams and him that won't be mentioned. SINCERE THANKS KEITH AND KAREN.
( but the worst part of the last years, is having to stand next to Brother brummie heart attack indigestion Avery. twice in 4 days. But I'm glad I was able to)

With all the Step 2 relegations and Step 4 promotions now confirmed, the latest projection looks like this:

Alvechurch
Barwell
Bromsgrove Sporting
Coalville Town
Hitchin Town
Leiston
Needham Market
Nuneaton Borough
Redditch United
Royston Town
St. Ives Town
Stourbr*dge
Stratford Town
Stafford Rangers
AFC Telford United
Kettering Town
Leamington
Long Eaton United
Halesowen Town
Stamford
AFC Sudbury
Berkhamsted

So Stafford and Long Eaton are now possible.
