Where do all these glory hunters come from?
They all fell off the Dourbridge bandwagon. ;)

I don't know ..... those receipts were printed in the next programme I think I recall
Chas, for the first time in known history, you sort of disappoint ;)

Tis' strange story of gate receipts though. I'll ring Adrian Chiles tomoorow on Radio 5. Despite him being a Stripey he might be able to find out. :)

25/10/1947 BROMSGROVE ROVERS - receipts £200 15s 6d FAC H 4,049 1-2
Impressive LLL - even the gate receipts!!!
That said, if I recall correctly, in times gone by gate receipts were very often published in the match statistics. Am I correct in saying this? If so, why were they published? We need to know!
In days of yore they seemed to tell us the receipts of all sorts of events. Theatres, sports events, exhibitions and all. Maybe they don't want us to know how much they are fleecing us for everything these days.....

I’ve some programmes where receipts are mentioned but it’s usually when an appeal is being made for attendances to improve as the club is struggling on the money taken at the turnstiles

300 tickets left apparently, so looks like a sell out.
