Crowd prediction and ticket count

Post by Yeltzbaby » 27 Apr 2023, 06:44

A bit of 'fun' before the big game

Have a guess at Saturdays crowd and those stattos amongst us, when was the last 'big' 3000 plus crowd at The Grove

So - have a guess at Saturdays crowd (I THINK our capacity is 3500) I predict a near sell out 3485 (official) unofficial could be a few hundred more LOL

Does anyone know how many tickets sold so far.......ticket count status??

Anyone want to guess Spalding following 150/200 max??

Hopefully all the regular fans get a ticket was a bit surprised season ticket holders wasn't given first dibs but given the lack of timing the club has to arrange this big fixture I suppose they feel there is enough to go around. Still feel these playoffs are a rush job would prefer 2 consecutive Saturdays.

.....or maybe have the final Bank Holiday Monday. Would give work goers the weekend to get tickets. Got mine about 1pm yesterday and was no queue but asteady stream of folks going in/out
I predict 3366 with about 450 Stamford.

Im guessing we'll pull 3,301 😁
Ive gotta race back from Kendal on Saturday morning so a relatively sober Friday night.

Im sure we had a crowd of 3,000+ against Frickley and/or Warrington in the mid 80's but I may be hazy in my recollection

The capacity is 3,500. Got my ticket yesterday and was told they are confident it will sell out. Makes you wonder where these people are the rest of time, but hopefully a few are converted and come back for more!

I think that current ground capacity is about 3300-3500. There were roughly 2500 for the Chasetown playoff
