That's one thing Paul as managed really well - organising decent level opposition.

It's no good looking good against Tipton, Cradley, Stourport Swifts etc in July and not being ready for competitive action. It's all about getting minutes against competitive opposition.

I know performances mean little in pre-season, but it makes judging players an easier task against quality opposition like Kiddy, Worcester and Crewe.

Quality oppositon? Kiddy - yes. Crewe - yes. But Worcester??!! They are currently in a lesser league than us ???

So we should be alright against them. Like we were against Handsworth >:D

I dont think you can read too much into friendly performances. Its all about match fitness and seeing how players gel.

Looking forward to the Stourbr*dge games, hopefully take a few on the Saturday, would be more then the handful they brought to ours last year.
Holmes’s performance in the away leg was the best individual performance of the season for me.
