I went to the old ground when the were still Rushden Town . They beat us 5-0 in the fog , so foggy that we could nt see half the goals and so could only guess at the score.
Never know how that game was allowed to stand. Even from the half way line you couldn't make out the goalposts at either end for some of the time!

Just googled Nene Park and I see what you mean!! Wikipedia says Kettering used it too?
If I remember correctly Kettering moved there following the repossession of their Rockingham Road ground when "He Who Cannot Be Named" was manager and the equally infamous Imraan Ladak was owner. They went into administration the following season

One of the more light hearted moments of that era was that soon after the "discussion" on the pitch at Chippenham, we played at Corby. Given the history between Corby and Kettering, the Corby supporters thoughtfully threw a pair of boxing gloves to "he who cannot be named".

To go off-topic-er, I just had a video come up on some timeline of mine, and my immediate thought was that you must have been seriously on the 'roids.

The worst one yet.
Palermo have just won promotion from Serie C. This is the view from their perspective as they triumphed in a battle with TWENTY SEVEN other teams across 3 divisions!

Need a lie down after reading that.😳biggest farce is that Serie A side Juventus have an under 23 side in that mix !!!so presumably there is a possibility in Italian football that Juventus could draw their junior side In the cup 🙄

If only it was that simple! Up until this year only 27 of the 3rd tier teams were permitted to enter along with 9 from Serie D. They like most of them to eliminate each other before Serie B teams enter and likewise before Serie A teams enter. I may be wrong but I think even Serie A come in in stages. But from this season just gone, to ensure no 'little' teams do well only 4 Serie C sides are allowed to enter.
And that's why the whole world loves our FA Cup.
