So Boston are in the play off final for the National League North. They finished 7th and 31 points behind the champions ..31 bloody points 😳😳😳

Complete and utter farce. Fifth against seventh. Why bother with the season at all? It's nothing but a time filler.

The lower placed teams have fared really well in the play offs.

In Scotland as well, Edinburgh City and Queen's Park got promoted but finished way off the pace.

Exactly this. Belper, Boston, Marine … the list goes on of teams having a great last 10 games and gate crashing the play offs and gaining promotion at the expense of teams who have won the marathon not the sprint. I’m with Andy on this .. they make a farce of playing a full season.

Grumpy, miserable old men...3rd v 4th contesting the Championship play off final. What's not to like? Seems fair to me!

Ps. Can I join your miserable old men club? I agree with your point in principle!

Give it 20 years and grumpiness develops naturally. I think its the body's way of replacing agility with something far more energy saving

I'm with OG on this even though the third placed team are my home town team. I've never been a fan of the play off system. It was introduced as, and still is, a money grabbing exercise by the FA. If you want 3 promoted it should be the top 3
