A line from the official club site stuck out to me.....
"25 goals in 283 appearances in the 90’s lifted Snapper to legend status with the Yeltz faithful, a status continued with the later generation of Yeltz fans when he re-joined the club as Paul Smith’s assistant in 2019".
Not quite correct. Snapper was elevated to Legend when he bought all the supporters a drink in the bar after the last away match at Salisbury! I can't recall the year but as they say........if you can remember the year, you weren't there! Precious times
