I would be very disappointed for Bunn if it was the case, but that said I would have Platt in my team in a heartbeat.
FIRST TEAM NEWS
Don’t worry about a thing.
HALESOWEN TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB are delighted to announce the Paul Smith’s latest signing for the forthcoming 2021-22 season.
The club are pleased to be able to announce the return of goalkeeper Dan Platt to the Grove.
Platty first joined the Yeltz in 2015 and quickly established himself in the number 1 position at the same time becoming a firm fans favourite. Dan has amassed 161 appearances so far, we’re sure he’ll be looking to join the 200 club in the coming season.
Paul Smith stated, ‘’I was equally surprised and delighted when Platty dropped me a line to say he may be available. Simply put he is one of the best goal keepers in Non-League.
Huge coup for the club.’’
‘’I’m extremely excited to be back,’’ Platty said, ‘’I came to watch the Redditch game a week ago and everything just screamed out to me to come home, I want to be a part of a successful Halesowen team and now is the right time, Paul has done a wonderful job so far and has been very unlucky with COVID but now we have to push on and hit the targets which have been set and I cannot wait to get started! Up the Yeltz, it’s good to be back’’
Welcome home Platty
Up The Yeltz
I guess that was going to be inevitable. Shame, good keeper. But in my opinion we have got back the second best keeper I have seen in all my time watching the Town. Who knows, this second stint may give him the chance to prove he is the BEST! It's a high bar, Danny M was truly special for Non League but I wish Platty all the best in trying. Very happy.HalesowenHarry wrote: ↑27 May 2021, 20:36And now Bren Bunn leaves
