Nice that he has shown his appreciation for us on Twitter. I understand that he wants to play at a higher level but he could have helped take US there. I really hope we swap places with them next season now. Big, big loss.

I suppose this is the price we are having to pay for being denied promotion through no fault of our own. It is probably going to be harder for players to commit to a 3rd season at this level when there are clubs nearby that can offer a higher level. The move to Northern Premier may not help in that regard either

Alvechurch doesn't strike me as a great move anyway. We would hopefully be vying for promotion, I doubt they will have a great season.

Agreed Andy. I thought if he went it would be to Step 2 side like Kiddy. Alvechurch , although at step 3, doesn’t seem like a mouth watering move. Really hope it works out for him though

Probably pays more and will get more game time. Its a shame but when you get decent players, they come sniffing.
