Apparently Cambridge City are making a formal appeal about being moved

Yep - https://twitter.com/cambridgecityfc/sta ... 58850?s=20
And yet, Histon, whose ground they share, seem happy enough. Maybe Cambridge's dressing room is further East?

Anyhoo, F 'em. One fewer trip to the flatlands.
It's no fun going to Cambridge now that we don't get to make Poll's life miserable by making him responsible for everything.
Maybe they could be replaced by Hexham Rovers?

Fairly sure I have read they are working towards their own ground, which I imagine would still though be in the greater Cambridge area.

Would it be cheaper for them in Hexham, nice town if I recall?

I was looking forward to a trip to Cambridge - been a long while since I was there. Hope they stay in our league.

Hexham is rubbish. Avoid it if you can.

I’m down seeing the family this weekend, so hoping to make a flying visit to The Grove tomorrow 🤞

No Hexham then.

Interesting. I would suggest though they are in no worse position than ourselves. But whatever League we are in we are ALWAYS on the periphery of it. I am slightly surprised at Histons beef though as they have been at a higher level and know all about the travelling involved.

Rumour has it that Adeles Cockney mates now play for Cambridge City and are fed up with all the travel to Histon
midweek.Let alone, the many long trips to the delights of Ilkeston,Spalding,Coleshill not to mention Yam Yam Land. ::) ::)

Histon have lost their appeal and so remain an opponent for next season.
