So we have a ‘70s Super Group forming.
Didn’t Roy Wood live on Colman Hill at some stage?
Frank Ifield stayed up Bundle Hill , he’d provide some yodelling

This has got the mind whirring, thanks Doc.

One from a bygone era now but Claire Sweeney (of Brookside fame, obvs) was dating the Albion goalkeeper, Alan Miller, and stood amongst the riff-raff in The Shed End during a pre-season friendly. She was fairly well-known at the time so it was a pretty good celeb spot, certainly by The Grove’s standards.

So, Robert Plant, Rick Wakeman and Claire Sweeney?

Not much to show for knocking on 150 years is it?

I knew that this was all lies - https://www.thedailymash.co.uk/sport/sp ... 0813101060

Surely some of the Yoof have input? Isn't there a famous YouTuber from near us who cemented his head into a microwave? He must have been down for a Senior Cup replay?

There was a Buxton fan who looked an awful lot like Rick Wakeman who came down The Grove a few years back. He had a bit of a potty mouth on him and Sheila had to tell him off. I don't suppose lookalikes count though and, if they did, we'd have a much longer thread.

I know you said non-football, so how about local racing driver, Jack Grealish? He came to a few games in the John Hill era, notebook in hand. I seem to recall he was buddies with Brad Lewis or Melvin Melvin.

He's not a racing driver. Lewis Hamilton would never wear slippers.

However, we could maybe include him as a male model? He is of course, "The Face of Claire's Accessories".

Henry Winter, L3 waxed lyrical about their paths crossing about 5 years ago. I think it was on Nonleague Day

Not forgetting West End actor Jack Loxton who was a regular a few years ago. He was on a “Songs fron the Shows” type programme on BBC a few weeks ago with other members of the Dear Evan Hanson cast in which he was appearing in before the West End went dark last March

Eddie Wedderburn who ran the steeplechase in the 1988 Olympics has been to Stourbr*dge matches at The Grove at few times. (I think he knows Stokesy as well)

Yes, I played golf with Mr Wedderburn back in the day!

Surely Mr Self (manager of The Twang) classes as a famous fan ;) ;)
