Our friends up the road at the cricket ground had our glorious leader, Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson, making an appearance at deep square leg.
It lead to sone discussion as to who the most famous (non-football) person that we’ve had at The Grove.
I can’t think of anyone with anything like a degree of certainty, a vague memory of Rick Wakeman being associated with someone that we played but I’ve an inkling that was away.
Anyone?

I have an image in my mind of him standing on the open side towards the shed (in the days when it was open towards the pavilion changing room)
