I would contend, m’ lud that the accused is on record as being a Blue Nose. He should therefore excused on the grounds of delusion behaviour and the punishment should be commuted to the reduction of one George.
Fifty years of following the Blues is punishment enough.

My lawyer has informed as follows.
All of my George's were earned in a fair manner. None were enhanced by the use of performance drugs. (Alcohol maybe).
We believe the George Despenser acted in good faith in handing out the above awards.
There have been no 'terms and conditions' to our knowledge that may have in the small print any information on the withdrawal of George's.
