Yeltz Formation Mini-Lecture

Post by BBNOW100 » 28 Dec 2020, 20:04

I'm delighted to be presenting a virtual mini-lecture and Q&A session titled "When was Halesowen Football Club formed?" this Sunday 3rd January at 7:30pm. I will begin by explaining why I believe 1877 is the true date of Yeltz establishment before opening the floor up to questions and comments. All the details can be found on the club website, and everybody is invited to join. Hope to see as many of you there as possible!

I have several online user-names and some email addresses where I have incorporated 1873 into the alias, I will be cross if you're telling me that's not the date of our formation!

I'm sure Andy and the other old 'uns will tell you they were there when we first played a football match!

Seriously, though - I'm looking forward to this.

I'm with you on that, Josh. Imagine the chaos in my life if Ben is proved right?!! ::)
It's 1873. End of story!! ;)

Every cloud has a silver lining - if it proves not to be 1873 then a new a badge might be needed. An opportunity to ditch the party hat for something more suitable. Halesowen church anyone?

I love the fact we're older than Blues and V*lla. This would put us behind both of them. :-\

So, are you suggesting Ben is a Blues fan? Or worse, V**la? Or both? :)

Thanks lads, very interesting and well researched.

I'm off to try and find a Colman Hill shirt.
