Last time we didn't play on Boxing Day?

Assuming there'd have been a relatively recent postponement. But when was the last time we weren't scheduled to play on Boxing Day?

I'm not sure when the fixture first came in - but I'd be surprised if we've failed to have a fixture on Boxing Day this side of the 1980's!

I recall a few postponed in the late eighties/early nineties when 11 o’clock kick offs were in vogue, but a few times by 3 o’clock frost had thawed and that brought about a change to the now traditional 3 o’clock. That said it seems a long time ago now that frost has troubled us at all on Boxing Day

Aarr, back in the day when winters were real winters. Centimetre upon centimetre of snow. Kids. They just don't know they're born.

When winters were real winters, we didn't have centimeters! And the snow was measured in fathoms ;)
