I would have thought quite likely that we will be in Tier 3, which could mean our game at home to Berkhamsted being behind closed doors, and possibly Boxing Day game.Tiers are to be reviewed every 14 days
If we are in tier 3 are we allowed to play at all? I've no idea about anything anymore....

Surely there is no way we’re even close to being a sustainable entity if we have to play behind closed doors?!

Also surely the boxing day game is ok. As the entire population has been given permission to lick each others faces and give the entire nation covid for 5 days, just because it's Christmas, then surely we can watch a football match during that window.

Trying very hard to not be political, but I fear you are assuming a logic and consistency that hitherto has been somewhat lacking from our illustrious leaders.

We haven't had a good politics row on here for years.

Mind you, I wouldn't think there's be any issue as results point to everyone in Halesowen being a Tory Brexiteer now.

I still can’t work out how this is going to pan out. Yes, it’s almost certain we’ll be Tier 3 on Dec 3rd so it’s very unlikely we will be allowed fans for the Berko fixture.

But how can we pay any of the players and management if we have no gate money? And what is the point in playing out these games behind closed doors anyway?

So I would assume we have to say no to playing any games until we can get fans back. And then what happens to the players - do they just have to “keep warm” until the time comes for fans to be allowed?

I would assume these are the questions being asked by various clubs, so will have to wait and see I guess?

If we can't / don't play because we are in tier 3, we may well have to forfeit the match. So would we have to play behind closed doors just to keep in with a chance of promotion ???

It's going to get very complicated. If we don't play at home, then the backlog of fixtures will become huge. I was wondering if clubs may be able to switch a home game to its away equivalent for a few weeks, but then there is no income even if players can train. Also, that doesn't help if your the opponent is also in Tier 3.

The ironic thing is that as soon as an area moves out of Tier 3 the permitted attendance goes from zero to 50% of the ground capacity or 2,000. So, from having no fans, we would suddenly be allowed far more than the previous 400 limit even in Tier 2.

What is the 'official' capacity these days?
