I've got a bit of a wavy line where my mouth should be, maybe because it's not Northern enough, but there's some tough teams there.
We lost twice to Corby and once to Cambridge in the space of a week...

Went to Histon only about 6 seasons ago when they were in the Conference.
Not sure of their history since then but they may have a few ££ behind them ??

Mid-tabley in 19/20 - https://www.isthmian.co.uk/archive8881- ... id=d-51836
Bit better last year but "n of 1 isn't science" - https://www.isthmian.co.uk/match-info/t ... id=d-60902

Cambridge look similar but they looked a good side in beating us last year.

But there's so much change season-on-season in players and money that it could be anyone.
We know that we're OK, so bring 'em on.

I'm not sure if they were bankrolled but they dropped right down the leagues, going from Step 1 to Step 5 pretty rapidly. They did manage to knock Leeds out of the FA Cup at one point - an impressive claim to fame!

In 2019/20, they were comfortably mid-table in the Isthmian North, with Soham and Cambridge in close proximity. That said, you never know what's happened in the meantime and I doubt even the most recent of form will count for much.

Hard to put into words how bad we were that night though...
