That would be absolutely brilliant, but I don't understand on what basis we would have been 'promoted'. And it would seem Corby not.
I believe it uses a composite function that combines PPG with pie quality.
I actually wouldn't be surprised.
Watching the way the football authorities are/aren't dealing with the VAR fiasco at the moment is raising their credibility to unheard of heights at the moment. Even rock, paper, scissors will struggle to solve it. Pie quality may yet be the answer there too. Or shooting the fuckin' lot of 'em.

Depending on the importance (should the phrase be the weighting)? of the pie quality in the algorithm, Corby could well find themselves in the McDog and Duck League. On this basis, Swindon Supermarine would be permanent participants in the Champions League and Cambridge City (at the old Milton Road ground) would have several promotions.

Any other pie-based promotion candidates?

Well, Kidderminster are generally seen as the "three michelin stars" of the non-league pie world, whereas I think Corby are more "three michelin tyres" with the contents of theirs. Sorry to go on about it but, good lord, it was horrendous.

Honorable mentions for me go to: Sutton, who've got a really nice little menu; Barwell for their famed burgers; and I also noticed a guy called the "Burger Monster" who promotes his menu on twitter and facebook before games- he's at AFC R&D.

Yeah, that’s Kiddy. Whilst they win all the awards, I do wonder if it’s purely because they have a menu that’s very slightly broader than just burger and chips.

Mini?!?! They were a good size but a good price also. I think the last one I had was around a fiver. Their soup is a meal in itself also! Sadly the chap behind the family business that has run the food at Aggborough for the last 50 odd years passed away recently.

Yes, the soup was, and I hope still is, legendary.

The old fella has indeed passed away but it’s a family business and will carry on as before.
