not as simple as that, there's a lot more balls in the pot when the draw is started!
??? ??? ???
It was a dig at the FA as everyone else seems to be doing it. Whether they take us / leave us out each time the home team is drawn ;D

Goodness, it's like nerd central on here.

2*(1/2)8 = 1 in 128.

So, that's -

Cambridge, Hednesford, West Bridgford, Newcastle away in the FA Cup
and
Corby, Concord, Barnet, Halifax away in the FA Trophy.

8 on the bounce at odds of 128/1.
Or even 256/1
Hang your head in shame, sir.

Yep, got that and it makes sense.
But.
1st draw 1 in 2 away
2nd draw 1 in 4 away
3rd draw 1 in 8 away
4th draw 1 in 16 away
5th draw 1 in 32 away
6th draw 1 in 64 away
7th draw 1 in 128 away
8th draw 1 in 256 away

How come?

Since 1947-1948 we've been in 155 FA Cup draws and have been drawn at home 81 times and away 74 times

Who's he calling a nerd??

Fuck the FA.

What's the equation for that?

Why 2*

The probability of 8 consecutive away draws is 1/256.
The probability of 8 consecutive identical draws (all home or all away) is 1/128.

However calls for an investigation could be shifted to the Trophy, in total (I believe) we've been in 77 draws for that and have been drawn at home 33 times and away 44..................

I wondered that.

That’d make the odds 127/1 ;)
