Didn't we play Dudley Town, KO 10am, a few seasons back. It was the same day England played Sweden in the quarter finals of the World Cup.
Edit - on second thoughts, I think KO would have been a little later than that.
Think this was an 11am KO chap.
Yep, think you're right. It was definitely a morning game. It was bloody hot, I know that much.

Top work.
I think the K might be “Kein” but I can’t quite remember. The internet is oddly silent on the matter, but it’s an old chestnut on here, and I think we first found the answer when the newsroom at the Halesowen News ground to a halt to do the research on our behalf.
Ettingshall HT?
AP Leamo?
The “FC” in Stourbr*dge Town FC?
Ninja edit, you’re right Sir, Kilme it is.

And of course, GKN Sankey where we got the Twins from.
And thirteently, Paul and Lee were always listed in the pen pics as “Capstan Operators”. Wtf is a Capstan?

I now know much more about lathes than I did 5 minutes ago.
The Capstan Lathe seems particularly impressive as it's "suitable for bar work".
"Three pints of mild and a bag of scratchings please mate".

Love it. I can't think of a way of throwing this thread off topic any further. Westy might have a go though....
