Despite being in a higher league, Concord upset the form book.

I've always fancied a trip to Canvey Island :-\

A guide to concord. Looks like we're struggling for room, parking etc

Last nights gate 852 where Royston were taking 3 coaches I believe.
League home since 1st October highest boxing day 584, lowest 243, average 362.

This post is in no way to disrespect the achievements of Aveley, but rather to magnify our own amazing run.

The history books will show that two step 4 clubs made it to the quarter final, but what it will not show is that Aveley played two step 4 clubs, four step 3 and one step 2 before bowing out whereas our route was three step 4, one step 3, two step 2 and three step 1....truly remarkable when you add in that we have now beaten 3 step 1 clubs on their own patches :o

Same with Concord - I had a look at their route to the semis and it's all fellow Step 6 sides, except for Royston in the quarters.

Concorde played today and drew 3-3 at home to Tonbridge.
Admission was free but a donation to a local charity was requested which I thought was a damn good idea.
Not sure of the attendance.
They started selling both home and away leg tickets and it states at home leg there will be segregation.

Concord haven’t won in the league in 2020, and even with games in hand are right in the middle of a relegation struggle (obviously assuming the season is actually completed)
