I saw some comment about fighting on social media somewhere last night, but I was somewhat "refreshed" so I can remember neither exactly what it said nor where I saw it.
Unfortunately, booze, IQ challenges and yampos always lead to the odd scuffle but 'twas ever so...
There was quite a large kerfuffle in the stand on the left, just past the dugouts. I read on either the Barnet forum or twitter (can’t remember which) that they thought it was someone from Halesowen getting taken out of the director’s box, but that sounds a little unlikely.

It's always the same, Colin gets a few sherbets in him and he's taking on all comers with a chair leg.

I want that to be so true. But he was safely in the car with us telling the same story about the game every 15 minutes up the A40. By the end of the journey he's got us all agreeing on something none of us could remember at the game itself ;D

Before kickoff the drunkest people I saw in the bar area were the Walsall fans who turned up after their match was called off.
Absolutely steaming.
I can't have someone else in attendance described as the drunkest Yeltz fan, I need to up my game!
Josh, the difference is you're kind of like old school non league fan like we were. We drank 'plenty' as well but didn't 'act' like lunatics.

Apparently there was an incident in the director’s box - anyone know anything?

I was told it was inappropriate drunken behaviour by some Halesowen guests which resulted in one or two of them being escorted out by stewards.

Didn't realise they were Halesowen. The incident spilled over into the (thankfully closed) family zone and the stewards were struggling to deal with it before the police got involved. The whole thing went on for around 10 minutes and there were women involved too but a man had to be dragged out as far as I could see.

Just watched the terrific highlights and was amazed at the reaction from the Barnet players when they finally scored.
Just showed they went into the game with the attitude they had already won it.
Can see why their manager was so annoyed at the end

Someone near to me said there were people kicked out of the bar for being a pain in the arris. Not sure where that is in relation to the directors boxes. Bit disappointing if Im honest. This is a decent club and I dont want its name ruined by people who have no real affinity to it. Some of the abuse dished out to the stewards was shameful...and mainly by people I have never seen at the Grove.

Barnet have put all non-playing staff on immediate notice of redundancy as a result of the coronavirus outbreak!

Such a shame, all the staff I had dealings with were great...Some may not agree.
