Jordan Sinnott

Ive been having some good banter on the Halifax forum for a couple weeks and they seem a good lot. One thing I have picked up on is how much Jordan Sinnott meant to them ( the lad that sadly got killed recently). I know like virtually every club in the country (and abroad) we have joined in the shirt donation to be used for sport relief afterwards but I thought it would show a bit of class on our part to have an applause at their place on 25 minute (his age). If people think it a good idea get the message round the coaches. I think it would be a nice touch.

This has been discussed already, and a group of us have already agreed it's a good idea, so looking like this gesture is a goer.

I think it has been mentioned on social media and also a Yeltz group chat I’m on about doing this.

If we’re all on board it would be good if the club put something official on social media and inform Halifax - maybe even for them to announce it before kick off so we all clap together.

Excellent. Not sure Halifax will announce another as they have already done so. I'm sure we could do it ourselves easily enough.

Could somebody at the club arrange to get this announced on the coaches please?

Well done everybody on the tribute. Thank you.
I have received a pm from Halifax thanking us for it also.

A great moment and was well respected by the Yeltz Family.

As an aside did anyone see what happened just down the road at Huddersfield where both Jordan and his dad Lee played. It’s very rare that a referee gets praised but I think in this instance David Webb should be.

As the applause began in the 25th minute QPR were just preparing to take a corner. The ref delayed the game until the applause had finished and allowed the players of both sides to join in.

Earlier this week two men were found guilty of the manslaughter of Jordan and were sentenced to prison today.

The man who instigated the attack received a jail sentence of 11 years whilst the other man received 8 years and 3 months.
