2019-2020 Season All Comps to inc 3rd December

68 Goals scored
13 Different Goal Scorers
2 in double figures

2018-2019 Whole Season

39 Goals scored
16 Different Goal Scorers but remember how many players we had registered was probably three times more than this season.
1 in doube figures just 10
1 8
1 5
rest 2's or 1's.

Gibson will get more goals this season than the whole squad managed last season.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the following get double figures, if not already.

Molly
Sim
Parsons
Bunn
Evans
Sammond

Crazy.

I just desperately hope we can keep everybody. As a group it appears to be a happy, together group. I'm sure that they would all love to stay together and be along for the ride but big clubs will come calling.

The best league season for goals was 1982-83 - according to http://yeltzarchives.com/history/league-history.html - was an unbelievable 124 in 38 games.

We need another 91 goals in the remaining 26 games to match that, which is 3.5 goals per game. Seems unlikely, but on current form who knows?

Not sure If it’s unlikely at all ... I know we have been scoring 5’s and 6’s but a lot of us still think somebody is going to get a real thumping soon

Not sure If it’s unlikely at all ... I know we have been scoring 5’s and 6’s but a lot of us still think somebody is going to get a real thumping soon

I genuinely believe we could see double figures, if we get an early goal and click when we play Wantage at home.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a 8 or 9-0 between then.

Maybe I'm over confident in this team, but we create so many chances, it's unreal. We were wasteful, at times, last night. Yet we still won by 6!

Just an update on the goals, Piggo's goal on Saturday was our 50th league goal of the season, our 95th in all competitions, more than we scored in the previous 2 seasons added together.

Does anyone know the total league and cup goals total we scored when we last went up please 2013-14 season.

I think 99 plus another 3 in the end of season challenge shield.

Surprising stat I just noticed is that Gibson has not scored any of our last 14 goals.(hope I've counted right??)
Yet we still scoring at an excellent rate per game.
Must be hard for opposition defenses as they just cant think now, mark Montel out the game and we ok. Our goals are coming from everywhere!!!
