Big plus is that the rearranged games are mostly home ones. Nightmare trying to do long away trips on a Tuesday.

Two more away days this week and then, as things stand, eight of the following ten league games are at Fortress Grove.

The 42 days rule is madness.

Starting from last Saturday, that's 16 games in 8 weeks!

Totally agree. That could cost us the league. Eight games in one month ending with the two most crucial games of the season! >:(

During the period of that 16 games for us Berkhamstead and Corby play 10 each. There are three more months that these could have been spread over. Another footballing body that couldn't organise a tea party.

Selfishly, I'm happy that I get to watch this team play more often in a month. They are a joy to watch.

I take your point, it's not ideal, though.

Re arrangement of league fixtures Rule 8.39 save in exceptional circumstances, be within 42 days of the original date.
Maybe we could use the 'exceptional circumstances' phrase to good use here. A good Cup run, a great Trophy run, not to mention the wettest Autumn in 60 years.

All of those are pretty exceptional for us. Certainly over the last 10 years ;)
