The Redditch keeper, as he had little else to do on New Year’s Day, was telling us that he was from Cradley Heath.

I suspect he may follow.

Yeah, we all thought we were getting him!

I’d love a Sarge return (my computer needs fixing) but seems like Evo might be quite possible as well.

I also picked up on a bit of a hoo-har down the Stourbr*dge Rd as I think they’ve signed a new keeper, despite having one they quite liked already.

So who knows!

amazed we have got him IMHO the best I saw at that level last year and could easily play at a higher (much higher) level. :)
I'm amazed it took him so long to sign!

Past history tells you Robbie Bunn goes wherever Paul Smith goes (Bromsgrove, Highgate, Redditch) and if Paul Smith isn't working, he'll then go wherever Paul Smith advises him too (Worcester, although that one didn't last long)!

You've got the makings of a squad that should be challenging for promotion. Corby and Sutton Coldfield are both good sides but there's really not much else to fear in that league.

Big Brags, the yellow card machine, has signed for Evesham. John C got some time back in his diary.

Not a surprise to see him move on and seek a new challenge tbf. I think it was needed for both parties.

A player that was criticised a lot of the time, although maybe sometimes justified and whilst I wasn’t his biggest fan, no-one can deny his effort and commitment to the cause. Gave us nearly 5 years service which can’t be sniffed at, at any level of football these days. I certainly believe that he genuinely cared about the club too.

Thanks Brags and good luck for the future!

Wouldn't want too many more from Redditch though, they weren't THAT good.
No, they were one of the few teams we managed to beat!

I think if we'd been signing all these players at our previous level, we may have been a bit more indifferent, but It's a major squad overhaul and one that was needed and hopefully it will be enough to get back up at the first attempt.

Paul Smith only had half a season there with minimal backing.

League below, the players he wants, I wouldnt worry too much. :D

That's the most objective post, thus far. 👍
