I understand the reasoning for choosing the new badge.

But I do find it very convenient that the 'vote' was a tie...

Could we not compromise and have the proper badge on a home shirt and then the new badge on GK's, away and third strips?

Anyway, it's a minor issue, as far as I'm concerned, and I'm very much looking forward to the pre-season and the season.

Simply gutted. And amazed.
Importantly though, thank you Karen for giving us the opportunity to vote on this, disappointed as I am at the outcome. It would be great if you are able to get replicas with the real badge on available to buy, I would still have one EVERY year! It feels more of a satisfactory outcome for the 50% that want it. I could still feel that I was quietly rebelling against the abhorrent party hat as well! Once a punk always a punk......

Serious question here. How difficult would it be to use BOTH badges? If websites, season tickets, advertisements etc are produced anew, why not give a nod to the real badge in the corner? If kits are supplied with both badges as you have intimated, we have the choice on that as well. I just would like to see the real badge acknowledged wherever possible. Keep the party hat as the 'official' logo but include the real badge where it is feasible to do so.

Happy Birthday Andy. I hope you have a party hat on......errrrrrr ;) ;D
Well its like the referendum all over again. Except we cant blame the grey vote as they may not be internet ready or young people that couldnt be fussed!! Financially, it makes sense to keep with the current badge, but I wonder if it was such a big issue after all, if less than half of a home crowd voted? I genuinely wasnt fussed either way.

I do like the suggestion, that the old badge could be used too but rather than alternative shirts, maybe do a Cardiff, when they changed theirs, and have a smaller badge somewhere on the shirt. I guess it all comes down to cost ultimately and I dont think an added cost for 91 people that bothered to say they wanted the old badge makes much sense. Interesting to see how the pre-order situation pans out.

Thank you. Definitely, definitely no party hats.

Karen clearly sees that the badge is contentious to some supporters and the offer to have some shirts made with a different badge on is frankly way above and beyond what is necessary and would have additional expense incurred by the club - I really cannot imagine any other club making such a generous offer especially after such a small number of votes were cast.

Well done to the club but I genuinely hope there are not enough people taking uo the offer as I'd rather see the club money staying with the club and keep a single identitiy.

Very disappointed indeed. However, I think it’s a good idea by the club to offer the retro merchandise this would definitely tempt me to spend my hard-earned cash.

I can't see why it will cost the club money if the required amount are ordered. It's a great gesture and I for one am grateful. As far as I'm concerned that new badge had nothing to do with any club I recognise but buying a current shirt with real badge will make me feel 'included' again.
