I think Alex should be included. We haven't got many from the later era and he was one of the best who loved the club also.
Local as well, I believe. Always makes a player more popular.
Talking of local, has anyone mentioned the great Sean Flynn yet? Much too early for me to look ::)

From back in the thread, I asked about Tonksy - does anyone know if he’s signed properly for Walsall Wood or if STFC have loaned or dual registered him?
TRM?

I’d have him back tomorrow.

He is on loan to get match fitness. He had ankle operation at start of season and hasn't played for Stour yet.

Struggling on this one. Look forward to the first team sheet coming in. I might nick a few. ;)

Think we're going to have to turn this thread into 'best players in that period'. I can't get anything resembling a team of legends. A few of them today might make it though. Not.

Dual reg. He did actually come on as a sub in one of our 'minor' Cup ties a month or two ago, but that was his only appearance this season until he came on as a late sub again today. He was an unused sub at Stratford on Saturday as well.

Try this one
As Richard Crisp missed out to Penner in the oldies list but I believe played beyond 2000 I'm giving him the right back berth ahead of Green in this list.

Manager
Paul Holleran

Goalkeeper
Dan Platt

Defence
Richard Crisp Curtis Tilt Asa Charlton Alex Cowley

Midfield
Les Hines Tom Tonks Mark Taylor Simon Forsdick

Forwards
Stephan Moore Ben Haseley
