Platty

Feel free to admonish me if this isn’t meant to be discussed, but what’s going on with Platty?

I’ve heard a few wicked whispers on the terraces, but finding it a bit unusual that the club hasn’t offered any updates since he got injured.

Platty deserves an enormous amount of credit for what he’s done at the club. Not only has he been a great keeper but he’s been one of the few players to really wear the shirt with pride and has stuck with us through thin and thin. I’d find it a bit concerning if he was allowed to drop off the radar, like it seem he has?

Silence from the club is the norm today. You're better off going around the ground and asking people. He's out for the season.

I've heard not. May not be as bad as feared.

Who knows. We've heard nothing official.

I appreciate there's probably a good reason as to the lack of an update.

It is frustrating, all the same.

I spoke with Dan a couple of weeks back, he was very upbeat as the injury wasn't as bad as he first feared and was hopeful of being back around January. Good news

Cheers Rob- that’s good news and better than what I’d been told.

Much as I have been impressed with Gregory and Hill, it will be great to have Platty back. He's become fixtures and fittings to me, like Asa. Makes things feel more 'normal' in the up and down world of HTFC.
Actually 'Platty' and 'normal' don't really go together in the same sentence, do they? ;D
Just kidding, top man.
