I hate creeps Brother Avery, you patronising brummie and Westy, you know where you can shove your precious georges.
That's not very nice Brother Kenneth. I'm going to have to deduct a George from your highly distinguished conduct record. :o

So now, by my reckoning, you owe me a George. I'll probably never get to see it though. ::)
Westy, I feel you are correct in saying Ken owes you a George as I do not think any physical state can produce a negative object. Bending of spacetime was thought to be able to produce a negative mass I believe, but this is all supposition. A negative number is just an abstract mathematical idea that can really only exist in the imagination. I'm sure someone out there may disagree with me and with PROOF we may be able to put Ken's George score at -1.
I'll forward your email on to Doctor Who. I'm sure she can explain it to me ;)

Whilst on the subject of negative numbers, there is a young lad at my wife's school who is terrified of them. They have some terrible trouble with him as he'll stop at nothing to avoid using them!

Boom! Tish! Ithangyou. :D

Grantham lost 7-0 at Matlock tonight, a 6th league defeat in a row this month.

So we can't big up the opposition for this one.

You have to be a very poor side to lose 7-0 to Matlock, who are themselves a poor side. I'm expecting a convincing win Saturday. In no way should a draw be deemed a good result on that basis.

Thier recent dip in form has thrown my Fantasy Island prediction into turmoil. When the draw came out I went for a 2-0 defeat, don't know what to do now. Change it or leave it? Surely we can't lose this one, can we?
