Shaw Lane

Have packed it in! Unbelievable.

I guess we could be saying farewell to a team in our lineup, perhaps Stafford?

Stafford are already in the NPL

Hednesford is the possibility but Kings Lynn is further North

However there are also more goings on at the moment before the AGM's are over...... starting with Nuneaton tomorrow night where rumour has it they will be expelled from the NL

Also rumour has it that Met Police may resign from the SPL now they have lost their appeal after being transferred from the 'Back Home for Tea' league

oh what fun ::)

Same old story- guy picks up local team, ploughs his money in to make a name, eventually finds it harder than he first thought, gets bored, gives up, the end.

They’ve announced the changes now. Hednesford into the Northern (that’s who I meant earlier, not Stafford) and the sexy neon lights of Banbury are coming our way. The gap at step 3 is filled by a team that will make the longstanding Yeltz fan shudder. :'(

This is what happens when you put money into a club with feck all fan base.

Don't let the negative folk around the club tell you anything than Halesowen has a great fan base, who under the right circumstances could get 700 plus regularly.

It's a shame many good and honest folk have been driven out the club over the past 18 or so months.

Sorry to appear thick but why do we have a team transferred over and then have to receive a team from elsewhere when the NPL could just promote a team from below.

Hi Andy
If you go onto the Tony Kempster site there are endless discussions and explanations on how it works this year due to the restructuring... but be warned....if you have never read that site be prepared to give up your night ;D

I have. It's a great site. Carried on after the great man's demise I believe.
