Hello friends in Halesowen,
First of all, I would like to convey my condolences for the loss of Prince Philip to those who have a warm heart for the royal family.

You haven't heard much from me for a while and that's because of the covid19. My job was at stake after 21 years with the Dutch Railways. But I may stay for the last 5 years for the time being. I have a work guarantee until 2025. I will then probably advance my pension for a year. I was also offered € 26,000 to leave! But I will not do that because then I will be on unemployment benefit. I have never been unemployed and hope to keep it that way until I retire.
Naturally I follow everything on the site and Facebook etc. about the Yeltz.
It's time I came back to Halesowen soon. But then the borders will have to be reopened. How long will it take ?
Saturday I will receive my 1st Astra-Zeneca vaccine. I hope I survive.
Also in the Netherlands there is only professional football that continues.

Our local club from Deventer (Go Ahead Eagles) are also doing well in the competition. They almost certainly made it to the play-offs for promotion. Even 2nd place is within reach for instant promotion. If we're lucky, Ajax, Feyenoord, AZ and PSV Eindhoven will come to Deventer again.
Also as an amateur referee I do not have any matches to whistle and we hope to be able to start again in September. There was an advantage! I couldn't be relegated as a referee, but of course I couldn't get promoted either. But after 34 seasons that is no longer necessary. I do it to keep fit.
In indoor football I have gone a step higher and am now in step 3 of national indoor football. This means that I have to run the indoor FIFA fitness test. And believe me, it will kill you! (62 yrs old) But it keeps you fit!

I try to visit you again as soon as possible with my mate Berry, stay safe!

Good to hear from you again Ronnie! Good to see you will still keep you're job, it's been tough for a lot of people. Would be good for you if the Eagles were promoted, but that will probably have to be through the play offs now. And to be fair Cambuur and De Graafschap deserve promotion after last year. Our season will be hopefully starting in August, looking forward to it but I wouldn't be sure if borders will be open by that time for yourself. Take care, stay safe.

Love it. Crowd jeering and whistling ref and VAR. Proper singing and crowd noise again. We're getting there....

PSV fans wildly celebrating 2 goals. Both end up being ruled out by VAR.😂 Some things never change eh Ronnie?
