Good to hear from you after so long. Hopefully by your next visit we will no longer be a club in crisis and you will be wowed by what you see! Maybe your Eagles will be bouncing back soon as well.

By the way how many get relegated from the Eerste Divisie? That would not be good! And what happens if Jong Ajax win the title, does a lower team get promoted instead?

Hi Andy,
There is no relegation from the Eerste Divisie ;D It is much different as in England. Also if Jong Ajax should win the title the first lower team will have promotion. I have visited only once this season to the Eagles. This season is my last season as a referee on the fields after a 30 year career. Probably I will go as a Futsal ( indoor ) referee next season.

Cheers Ronny
After 30 years you must be a glutton for punishment to want to ref some more. Go and watch the Eagles and suffer like the rest of us fans do!!!!

Good job you didn't go at the weekend! I dont think futsal matches will get as violent anyway!

Hi , Just watched the Youtube video about the No 9 Derby from yesterday ! I definitly must come on the next no 9 derby !!
But in my opinion was it not a red card for Stuart Pierpoint ( Did he play also for HT ?) The other defender from ST BR could have stopped him . What do you think of it ?

Definitely not a red. But as someone on the match thread said; ‘it’s them, so who cares’.

Thankfully yes. For this season only as there is league restructuring at the end of the season. As you can see we are nearly safe now! ;D
