What's up Doc?
It's been some hours since the passing of the 'Thin white Duke' and still no Richard Massey references.

He was mentioned in reply to my earlier text to him.
He's also of the belief that Alf Bowerman was an incarnation of Bowie and is currently deep in mourning

Hahahaha. I can only blame being stuck on planes.
I was one of very few people who's first though on hearing of Bowie's untimely passing, immediately thought of our former mulletted midfield maestro.
Stats Chas?

Re: What's up Doc?
Neither did Alf Bowerman?
His Halsowen News column was legendary though
Or do you mean Richard Massey?

Massey 133 apps & 7 goals, including the screamer against Dover that would have landed in Dudley if the net hadn't stopped it

I enjoyed some of Bowie but he was a bit "modern" for me

Re: What's up Doc?
A Yeltz/Bowie connection I can remember is from the time when we knew we were going to get promoted Southern Premier from Midland. We got a medley of songs together to play over the p.a. - 2 of them were Top of the World by The Carpenters & Bowie's Heroes. There were probably a couple more, perhaps Queen's We Are The Champions, but I struggle to be certain.
