Was thinking that myself the other day when I stumbled acrossthe draw.
One would assume it's the academy, but as of last week the were still doing trials

Another reminder to me today was I read Kiddy have announced the date for their tie. I see the matches should be played w/c 7th Sep so presumably our team will be up and running by then? Not long to go though.
I've seen some great Youth team matches in the past.

Hi,
Does anyone know if the Academy team is actually the Youth team or a different entity all together as the web page mentions a "Futsal" league?
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
The Yeltz Academy incorporates both the 11-a-side programme and the Futsal programme. As part of the programme on offer with @Futsal Group, Yeltz Academy scholars will compete in the Futsal National Development League (NDL). However they'll also still enter 11-a-side competitions as usual.
Therefore any scholars that join the Futsal focused programme will have direct links with the 11-a-side game, and 11-a-side players will enjoy the benefits of playing Futsal. I hope that makes sense!
Let me know if you have any other questions about the Futsal programme.
Regards,
Matt.

The Youth Cup game is confirmed for Weds, 9th Sept, 7:45pm kick off.
A good chance to see some of young lads hoping to come through the ranks.

Been to watch the game tonight, with Yeltz turning out 5-1 winners. Some cracking football on display, with players playing the right way, clearly the lads have had some good coaching. I look forward to seeing them again in the future - they're well worth a look at if you want to watch more football.

Another excellent game last night.
When you consider that our lads are under 16's, who have now beaten two under 18 sides it is remarkable the talent they have in this side

Top entertainment isn't guaranteed from our Youths but rarely do I leave The Grove disappointed by one of their matches.
