Shame it all ended like this, but I guess it had been coming.

What does the Shed look like with no boards on it? (I assume the Big Pet Store have had the boards back by now)
we could paint it purple to match the new away shirts! 8)

From what I've been told, the boards on shed haven't been taken down, but the pet shop transfers have been peeled off (and subsequently ruined). so IF Steve is telling the truth in the Halesowen news that pet shop asked for them to be taken down, (which is unlikely as they had a deal for another 12 months I believe) then those that couldn't be taken down should have been left. It's spiteful and nasty to peel off the transfers, especially when Spencer's (who paid for 1/2 the shed along with the pet store... Remember how bad it looked before?!) have been left in tact.

New shed end sponsor livery going up soon and should be in place for the Gresley friendly.

"We" - We look forward to seeing you at a working party soon! There's Lots more to be done before the season starts and before 'WE' (The hardy 6-8 of us who have been there every weekend) could ever consider painting The Shed purple!

Rob - I am a dialysis patient with cronic kidney failure so limited in what I can do - I do however work as a steward (for over 12 years) at the games, sell the programs, put the fixurelist up in The Waggon and Horses and use the bar, so I count myself as a 'WE' - Isn't that enough?

I find it really sad when a local and long term fan such as Mike is treated like this - I only wish that Mike had purchased OUR club in it's moment of need.
BUT, Steve Lynch did purchase the club and for the moment he remains in power - I only wish that he would reinvest some of the money he has earned as an outsider from his investment - but at least we are not Eastwood ! and we also have the Friends of the Grove (thanks Rob) and to a lesser extent now the Trust in the background.

I appreciate your original comment was more tongue in cheek, as was my response. Apologies for any offence you may have taken - that wasn't my intention. You'll see when you return to the ground in pre-season how much work has been done and why I'm frustrated by the lack of people who don't seem to want to help out.

Going off our average attendance last season of 532, 8 people turning up to a working party is just 1.5% of that attendance figure.

Imagine what could be achieved if just 10% of that average attendance attended regular working parties?
