Cheers chaps. Good to watch the highlights as a last-minute change of plan prevented me from going.
Parsons-Smith can claim another fine assist by the looks of it- that's the third dribble and cross that's created a goal, even though it looks like Taylor did his best to miss it!
Were there any other new faces from those that played Cradley? (John Hill and Macca aside.)

Re: Sporting Khalsa v Halesowen (Match Highlights)
Another 90 minutes under the belt.
We lined up like this to start;
1 Matt Sargeant (HT - Dan Platt)
2 Ashley Parsons-Smith
3 Josh Quaynor (HT - Isaac Cooper)
4 Darius Darkin (HT - Neil Mackenzie)
5 Joe Hull (HT - Ben Birch)
6 Anthony Charles
7 Chris Westwood (HT - Asa Charlton)
8 Danny Bragoli (HT - Gurpreer
?)
9 Greg Pearson (HT - Trialist)
10 Mike Taylor
11 Elikem Akumen (HT - Aaron Griffiths)
3-5-2 with Quaynor and Parsons-Smith as wing backs. Charles, Hull and Westwood as CB's and Akumen, Bragoli and Darkin in midfield.
Positives -
Another 90 minutes
No injuries
New guys seem to be settling in well.
Ball on the floor a lot more.
Well organised
Negatives -
Obviously going to take a while for new faces to settle and trialists to have a chance.
Personal view. - Really like Darkin/Bragoli and Akumen in midfield. A nice mix of styles with those three players. Front two clearly will be a handful when they get to know each other better. Westwood and Charles will be a great influence on Joe Hull.

Cheers Rob. I hadn't realised that Westwood had quite so much league experience. Asa and Macca will be on hand to make him feel at home.

I'm sure it's no coincidence as soon as Dave's face is on camera the gremlins appear and problems occur.
I hope lessons have been learnt

Great highlights once again! Don't worry about the slight mishaps, it's pre-season so don't think anyone is expecting the world just yet. It's just nice to see some highlights for folk like me who can't make the games, anything is a bonus really!
Just a question, has Macca signed for us properly or he is just getting some match fitness ahead of the new season? Would be great if we've signed him permanently!

From my understanding he is back with us, however as our level shows I don't think many players are exclusive to one club, but, I can't see Macca being involved with a couple of clubs, and can see him mainly as a squad player.dalevillain wrote:Great highlights once again! Thanks Dale, that's much appreciated.
Technical hitches are out of our hands at any point but always frustrating. It's smaller things like editing issues and spelling errors or whatever which are just down to a little bit of rustiness I guess!
Got some exciting things planned for this season, and we look forward to bringing you quality content throughout the season.
